The Military Emergency Tourniquet (MET®) has undergone extensive testing and evaluation by the U.S. Department of Defense, has been favorably reviewed by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), and continues to be the most reliable and effective limb-tourniquet available.
The MET® is currently in use by both U.S. and NATO conventional and special operations forces (SOF), as well as Federal, state, and local law-enforcement and emergency services agencies.
